Stacking Charms: Why One Is Never Enough

Stacking Charms: Why One Is Never Enough

I used to think one bag charm was enough. Pick your favorite, clip it on, done.

Then I tried putting two on the same bag. And honestly? I never went back.

There's something about stacking charms that just works. A little elephant hanging next to a fuzzy black cat - they look like they're friends going on an adventure together. It adds this playful energy that a single charm just can't quite pull off.

The trick is to mix textures. A soft plush charm pairs nicely with something sleeker, like a leather keychain or a pom-pom. You get this contrast that feels intentional without trying too hard.

Right now I'm rotating between a little elephant with a bib (I mean, come on) and a black cat with these tiny ears that stick up. Some days I clip them both on my tote. Other days I swap based on my mood. It's silly but it makes getting dressed a little more fun.

If you've only got one charm right now, try adding a second. Mix a plush one with something like a leather bear or a crochet piece. Or just double up on your favorite animal. There's no rule.

That's the whole point - you get to decide what your bag looks like.
